With an aim of promoting autism awareness in community, social acceptance, inclusion, and educating about differently- abled I support Foundation is bringing a one of a kind event in the city of Bangalore on the occasion of World Autism Day known as “Autism Fest”.
It is indeed a festival to celebrate the beautiful colours in lives of the autistic people. The event is all about giving a platform to these people where they can showcase their hidden talents like painting, singing and playing various games. Organized by I Support Foundation, a Bangalore-based NGO that works in the field of autism awareness, it is supported by various organizations like MAAC, Narayana Hrudayalaya, HolyStoked, ESAF, Breathe Entertainment etc.
The event will foresee activities like Aresource/craft fair, kids play arena,
Open street games by ESAF (Football, Bowling, Snake and Ladder, Chess, Tug of War, Hula Hoop ,Fun activities like cartoon characters, humanitarian clowns (by Humanitario Clowns Bangalore), face painting, water colour paintings, origami, family fun activities. A stall for answering queries of parents would be provided.
Ambulance service for the event along with Few speech Pathologists will be assisting from I Support Foundation side to answer any queries related to communication issues.HSR Traffic Police team will be participating in the event and would assist us as well.
Juhi Ramani, Co- Founder of I Support Foundation says “The motive behind it is to make parents comfortable to bring their kids on the street to let them enjoy.”
