Barbaric Video Shows Chinese Slaughterhouse Demanding Rs 14K To Save Dogs From Brutal Death

A few days ago, animal activists in China tried to eradicate the barbaric Yulin festival, by imposing a temporary ban, fine of of up to 100,000 yuan (nearly $15,000) and arrest.

To no avail, the ground reality is as gruesome as ever with videos and pictures of dogs in slaughterhouses going viral online.

In the disturbing footage shot in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, an animal activists tours through the slaughterhouse saying, “when we first arrived, a golden retriever was being slaughtered,” and pointed at the golden hair left on the large chopping board.

The most heart-rending part of the video is when she tries to stop a man from killing a dog, the man, in turn, demands £170 (Rs. 14,000), making it impossible for the activist to save the innocent pooch.

The video shows a dozen pet dogs, including Huskies, Labradors and Golden Retrievers chained and waiting to be killed for meat. Despite their efforts, animal activists fail to raise enough funds to rescue the dogs. The video ends with a dog butchered in front of their eyes. Their pain is inexplainable.
