In a bid to keep their locality spic and span, residents of the Kamala Nagar area in Jodhpur have come up with an innovative way to tackle litter. The process involves attaching a bucket at the back of a car and using it as a dustbin.
“PM Modi started a mission to clean this country, and we must support it,” an ANI report quotes resident Mohammad Yusuf. “It is sad to see the dirty environment. We must not just focus on cleaning the city, but the country too.”
Anil, another resident who is an ardent follower of Modi’s Swachh Bharat, said he uses his Audi for collecting the garbage of his house. “I also have a hospital of my own, where I encourage my patients to do what we do.” he told ANI
Gopal, another resident of the area said, “I collect the garbage, put it in a bucket and dump it in the dumping yard. I have been carrying out this activity for a week, and I feel happy to be doing this.”
A clean city, is a happy city and this Safai Abhiyan in Jodhpur is proof!
