It’s A Boy! Railway Officer Helps Deliver A Woman’s Baby On Thane Railway Platform

On Wednesday, a baby boy was delivered on a Thane railway station platform after a 24-year-old woman went into labour.

Meenakshi Jadhav was with her husband Sandesh Jadhav at the station’s platform number 10 from where they were to catch a local train to Ghatkopar to visit a hospital. However, before boarding the train, Meenakshi went into labour.

After hearing her husband’s cries, Railway Protect Force officer, Shobha Mothe along with other women offered to help and offered to deliver her baby under a makeshift cover. After a few minutes, Meenakshi gave birth to a baby boy.
