Women Entrepreneurs in the 21st century are all set to change the scenario of the business world with their excellent services and products. Swati Nathani is one such name in the list who through her venture “Team Pumpkin” is all ready to change the entire face of the digital world in terms of content and digital marketing.
Having more than nine years of experience in the Corporate World the bug of entrepreneurship had bitten her in the year 2012 and due to which Team Pumpkin was born in the city of Mumbai. It is a full service Digital Marketing Service Provider with services like SEO, Social Media Management, Website Consultancy & Development, PPC Management, PR Services and More. With about 40 people strong team it has been sown to seek happiness – whether it is end consumers’ happiness or client happiness or their own happiness. Currently the organization is based out in Mumbai and Bangalore. Soon it is ready for its Delhi operations.
“With some of the best talent across Digital, Social and PR, we have been delivering happiness to all our clients Day in and Day Out.” says Swati.
Success came to her after pouring in hard work and great effort. When she started her venture emotionally she was very hostile as her mother- the very source of inspiration in her life was diagnosed with the life threatening disease cancer. Her life was totally traumatised as on one hand she was feeling vulnerable due to the loss of her support system and on the other hand she had to excel her brainchild into the market. But Swati was not resilient and she grew mature as a person under such circumstances.
She believes that with the change the coming of the digitization a lot of things have changed in terms of freedom of women. Though she never faced any kind of discrimination for being a women she says that “ I do realize that Mumbai or for that matter, any metro alone does not define the scenario of women freedom and there’s a really long way to cover. The good news is, that because of social media and digitization, women are now able to voice their opinions much freely than before, and hence I see the progress happening way faster than any of the previous decades.”
Equally independent in her life Swati feels that it is all because of the great support of her family , husband and great friends with whom she can share the emotional turmoils of her life that she is able to gain and achieve success. At grassroot level as per Swati still there is need of things to change and people to understand the power of women. Right from female foeticide to educating girls people of India have to go a long way in order to change the status of girls in the country .
To the fellow womenfolk she gives out a message “Set a goal in mind, and follow it till it’s achieved. This independence day celebrate your freedom by thinking that all individual are equal in their own way. Giving Up should never be a choice.”
