India’s First Digital School in a village opened in Gwalior

In a joint initiative by Muskaan Foundation and Ministry of Rural Development, India’s first E-content based Digital School in Village is inaugurated on 26th June 2017. The school is located in Adarsh village at Chinor in the Gwalior district. It is a government school which is renovated and converted into a Digital school where education will be provided through E-content based technology and subjects will be taught without books and totally in a digital way.

Apart from this with the help of apps, a constant check will be kept in attendance of the students as well as the proper eye will be kept on the lessons that are taught by teachers in class on daily basis.

The school is inaugurated by Mr.Narendra singh Tomar (central minister of rural development) Mr. Gaurishankar bisen ( state cabinet minister) Mr. Daulat singh Chauhan (MD, ITM university). On the occasion chief guest Mr. Narendra singh Tomar threw light on the current scenario of digitalization and how Indian Government is having a strong control over the same. The recently launched digital school in Chinor is a perfect example of the initiative of Digital India.
