Zebra crossings that appear to jump out of the road will now adorn several streets in New Delhi. All thanks to the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), that’s planning to expand its 3-D zebra crossing project.
The capital got its first 3D pedestrian crossing in July last year, a couple of months after these two amazing women from Gujrat designed this crossing.
As for Delhi, the first project was done on Rajaji Marg, followed by Safdarjung Road.
The latest 3D crossing was completed on Monday outside Vigyan Bhawan, said Yogesh Saini, founder of Delhi Street Art, the group that is executing the project.
