Several Autistic Kids enjoyed Street activities in the “Open Street Autism Fest” organized by I Support Foundation

Recently, I Support Foundation(NGO) organized a one of a kind event ‘Open Street Autism Fest’ in Bangalore supported by Bangalore Traffic Police, Narayana Hospital, ESAF and Sevita, Humanitario Clowns,Pidilite Industries, Lions Club, Dr. Naga Subramaniam, Samarthanam Trust For Disabled, Khali Quarter Bottle etc. The objective behind was to make parents comfortable to bring their kids on the street to let them enjoy, promoting autism awareness in community, social acceptance, inclusion, and educating about differently abled.


All the challenges and limitations were thoroughly been considered for the event like the place selected had proper tree shade, beautifully covered with trees as the kids might not bear the sun for long. The duration has been kept short to with stand with their attention span and patience. No use of Mics, to avoid noise. The organizers took help of police to ban traffic for 2 hours and safeguarding the audience better.


Lot of fun activities like cartoon characters, face painting, water colour paintings, origami, street drama, family fun activities were the part of the event and Narayana Hospital put a stall to solve the queries of the parents of the autistic children.
